Background:
An avid PC user for years, I have taken its side in many Windows/Apple/Linux arguments, fully believing in their superiority in terms of performance and functionality. However, after waiting 5 long years and spending around $500 to upgrade my computer to Vista, I can't help but feel let down. The disappointment of Vista, along with the disgustingly successful year that Apple has had affected me so much that I am ready to take my first step into the realm of the Mac.

The Plan:
I want my first laptop to be a Macbook. Now, it sounds great and all, but this fact alone isn't substantial enough to create a whole website around it. The important aspect of my story is that being a college student, I have no money. I can't afford a Windows laptop let alone an Apple that will cost twice as much for the same specs. This, coupled with the sad realization that I don't have any friends or family who would drop the cash for a Macbook, has lead to a plan: I am going to have large companies buy my Macbook for me.

Just look at the back of an Apple laptop. Many see a pristine glossy minimalist surface. I see wasted real estate. While this might be sacred territory to many Apple fanboys, I couldn't care less about it. I'm going to be looking at the screen.

So here's the basic plan: I will sell this gleaming piece of real estate to companies willing to pay for the advertising space. Essentially, my Macbook will become a portable billboard, hence the website name. It's a win-win situation. Companies can put their logo on a surface that will travel from classroom to classroom where it can be seen by up to 500 impressionable students at a time, stay for 50-70 minutes then go on to the next one. And I get a free laptop.

Advertising Details:
The pricing for the ad-space will depend on the size of the area. The surface will be broken up into three rows of equal height (as seen in the image above).

Row 1 (above Apple logo): Three 7 x 10.5 cm* boxes ($250 per box)
Row 2: Two 7 x 13.5 cm* ($275 per box)
Row 3 (below Apple logo): Three 7 x 10.5 cm* boxes ($250 per box)

This is the cheapest advertising these companies will ever get. Their logo be seen by thousands, move from place to place, and be extremely noticeable. All for as low as $250.
